Carmel Duval has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Southern New Hampshire University. She has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1992. She served as a CPA with accounting firms and private corporations in New England before opening her own firm in 1999.

Growing up in a family of entrepreneurs, she knows the passion that business owners bring to their companies.

“One of the things I enjoy most is learning about my clients’ businesses and the excitement they have for what they do,” says Duval. “I especially enjoy teaching my clients simple record-keeping methods that they can live with and that will reduce their headaches throughout the year – not just at tax time.”

Duval is a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor® and currently teaches classes on the QuickBooks® accounting software.

She is former treasurer of the New Hampshire Women’s Business Center, an affiliate organization of the U.S. Small Business Administration. She is also a member of the New Hampshire Society of CPAs and the American Institute of CPAs, and is a board member of several nonprofit organizations.
